Sometimes in your life, you get to make decisions about your future; and sometimes those decisions are made for you. This is one of those times.
Suffice it to say, we are coming back to the US. Much earlier than we thought we would be. Not entirely by choice. I can't (and won't) go into the specifics; not here, on a public blog.
While disappointed, certainly, we've both seen God's hand so clearly at work, both in bringing us here, and now in giving us certainty and calmness in leaving. We do not doubt God's goodness, though we may question everything else.
We fly out on Thursday and will be staying in various parental homes until we figure out what's next for us (yes, Mom, Dad, the birds are returning to the nest!). I'll try to blog a few wrap-up posts before then; but if I don't get around to it, look out for them in the next few weeks after we're in the States.
I'm so happy you've all been so interested in our adventure, and I'm sorry it can't continue a little longer so I could given you a tour of more of this lovely countryside.
